This is my good friend. After the hard work and money we put into the property my friend scored this 2 1/2 year old 8 pointer on opening day at 7:55 AM.

Without time to build a "buck pole" we had to improvise with the tripod type hanger. In the background you can see the field that we've been working on.
clean up time
After caping out the mount it was time to get down to butchering up the animal. The temperatures were unusually high and the meat would not stay good for an extended period of time.
